THE GREAT KAT – Wagner’sWar

Oh, f***… The maddest and the fastest female guitarist on the world send me her newest stuff! It’s the goddess of Shred herself.. Ladies and gentlemen, here is The Great Kat – musician, who served as compositions from philharmony in metal style for ages ;)

This time Kat(hy) recorded Wagner’s ‘Die Walkure’ (in which apart from orchestra performed choir of… Walkyres), well known Liszt’s Opus #2 of ‘Hungarian Rhapsody’ and Sarasate’s ‘Zapateado’. And what to say more. If you don’t like classical music, you should listen to The Great Kat’s ‘fireworks’ on the guitar. This compositions have big ballas, and are… BRUTAL!!! Ok, ok… Kat(hy) performs 4 more tracks, including ‘War’, fallowed by the video tape with few shocking pictures. I’ve noticed that Kat’s own stuff is also more brutal than things from the past, and it includes more Thrash/Shredd Metal licks connected with classical stuff (ex. ‘Punishment’). And, what’s more – The Great Kat almost growls some vocals or painfully squeks!

For those who love speed, madness, original performance of classics... oh, and for those who love the only woman in the TOP 10 of ‘Fastest Shredders Of All Time’ (‘Guitar One’ magazine) ‘Wagner’s War’ album would be a great rarity! To tell you more, this music is engaged, ‘cause musical literary and graphics (full of perverse, or even brutal, sex, which is The Great Kat’s trademark) are connected with the 11^th of September 2001… Do you like The Great Kat?
