I was pretty surprised when I received the copy of the "Wagner's War" CD that I purchased through a mailorder. The disc is a mini-CD which features 7 tracks for a total of just 11 minutes of music. After the first two albums Kat drastically reduces her songwriting, focusing mainly on raping the classical composers she loves (Vivaldi, Rossini, Wagner), thrashing them with with hyper speed broadsides and inserting a totally mad orchestration on it. All songs share the same attitude you can breathe looking at the artwork and the photos that portray the absolutely politically incorrect guitarist. While the courage of an extremist behaviour should be rewarded, on the other hand it must be said that music on this disc is just 11 minutes long! Although the self-proclaimed reincarnation of Beethoven, as well as best guitarist of the Earth, supports that such a concentration of genius worth more than any other longer pedantic albums out there. Kat breaks the Wagnerian valchiries and the Liszt Hungarian rhapsody down to the speed of light. And it all happens between a bunch of songs called "War", "Terror", "Punishment" and "Humiliation". I swear, here and there I am totally afraid by this woman! Psychotron		Rimasi piuttosto imbronciato quando, dopo aver acquistato tramite mailorder questo dischetto di The Great Kat a prezzo pieno, scoprì di avere in mano appena 11 minuti di musica spalmata su 7 tracce. "Wagner's War" è un mini-CD (anzi, direi meno di un singolo) spacciato invece per full-lenght. Dopo i primi due lavori Kat riduce drasticamente il proprio songwriting, dedicandosi per lo più a strapazzare i suoi compositori di riferimento (Vivaldi, Rossini, Wagner) con bordate hyper-speed /thrash sulle quali inserisce un'orchestrazione rigorosamente al passo della sua follia. I testi delle canzoni fanno il paio con l'artwork e le foto che ritraggono la chitarrista in atteggiamenti assolutamente scorretti politicamente. Se da una parte il coraggio di tanto estremismo andrebbe premiato, dall'altra va detto che, stringi stringi, di musica su questo dischetto ce n'è davvero poca, anche se l'autoproclamatasi reincarnazione di Beethoven, nonché miglior chitarrista della Terra, sosterrebbe che un simile concentrato di genio vale più di qualsiasi altro pedante album in circolazione. Kat distrugge alla velocità della luce le valchirie wagneriane e le rapsodie ungheresi di Liszt, il tutto fra una "War", una "Terror", una "Punishment", ed una "Humiliation". Giuro, in alcuni momenti questa donna fa paura. Psychotron
