On 9/11, The Great Kat, who LIVES in NEW YORK CITY and Long Island, NY, was
in my recording studio on Long Island, rehearsing music for my new CD. When I saw the
images of the World Trade Center being attacked and being destroyed I was FURIOUS,
OUTRAGED and HORRIFIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My CD IMMEDIATELY became a BATTLE CRY to WAR – “WAGNER’S

What’s the first song you learned to play on guitar? (Please tell me it was

Bach’s Violin Concerto #2, transcribed from violin.
You use the word “virtuoso” a lot. Explain to my audience why
you’re a virtuoso.
A “Virtuoso” is a musician with great technical skills. The Great
Kat is a JUILLIARD TRAINED Violin Virtuoso turned Guitar Virtuoso playing HIGHLY technical
music (Beethoven, Paganini, Sarasate, Vivaldi, Bach, etc.) on the violin and TRANSCRIBING
