Nashville, TN — Burns USA Guitars today announced The Great Kat as the official endorser of the Burns “Scorpion” Guitar. Burns USA Guitars chose the Great Kat to showcase their guitars because of her stature as the fastest female guitar shredder in the world. The Great Kat (aka Katherine Thomas) is a Juilliard graduate violin virtuoso turned Guitar Shredder, who was awarded Guitar One Magazine’s “Top 10 Fastest Shredders of All Time” (April 2003 issue). The Great Kat was also proclaimed as “the fastest female guitar shredder in the world” in Spin Magazine’s July 2003 profile.
