1. Please tell us what you have been doing lately, new music?
Answer:
First of all, The Great Kat is the WORLD FAMOUS Neo-Classical Guitar

Soloist at Carnegie Recital Hall/ "50 Fastest Guitarists Of All Time"

UPDATING CLASSICAL MASTERPIECES through SHRED GUITAR!!!!!!!!!!

2.How did you get the idea to combine classical with metal? were you a fan
of metal as a kid, along with classical?
Answer:
The Great Kat has been listening to Beethoven and Classical Music since
birth. After graduating from The Juilliard School as a violin virtuoso, I
realized that Classical Music was DEAD and needed to be UPDATED and
RESURRECTED for the 21st CENTURY!!!!!!!!! I looked for modern popular styles
of music to update Classical music with and I found METAL!!!!!!!! Up to then
I had ONLY listened to Classical Music. I picked the electric guitar and
began transcribing my violin solos to the guitar. SHRED/CLASSICAL WAS
BORN!!!
3.What kind of guitar practice routine did you have when you were learning
to play?
Answer:
I applied the same discipline and schedule from my violin practicing to my
guitar practicing, which includes hours a day of scales, etudes, caprices,
and finger exercises to develop right and left hand agility and speed.
4 if you could go out on the road with any band, which band would that be?
Answer:
LET THE FANS DECIDE!!!!!!!! Who do YOUR READERS want The Great Kat to tour
with?????????????
5 Do you listen to any new up and coming artists? if so, who?
Answer:
BEETHOVEN is ENOUGH TO LISTEN TO RIGHT NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
6. How does it feel to be one of the 50 fastest guitar players by Guitar
World magazine?
Answer:
BRILLIANT! The Great Kat was JUST NAMED "50 Fastest Guitarists Of All Time"
by GUITAR WORLD MAGAZINE, in their July 2008 issue!!!!!! FINALLY THE ENTIRE
universe IS BOWING TO THE GODLINESS OF THE HIGH PRIESTESS OF GUITAR
SHRED!!!!!!!!!
7. What advice can you give any kid out there that wants to shred?
Answer:
1-PRACTICE SCALES, ETUDES, EXERCISES!!!!!!!!
2-PLAY WITH A METRONOME!!!!!!!
3-PRACTICE YOUR BUTT OFF!!!!!
4-BE AGGRESSIVE and COMPETITIVE!!!!!!!!!
5-MAKE IT FAST AND FUN—that's the WHOLE POINT of SHREDDING!
8.Any last words for your fans?
