Katherine Thomas plays Speed Metal versions of classical music. No, I didn’t make that up. She’s a Juilliard graduate who goes by the moniker The Great Kat (Juilliard must be so proud). Her other songs are very over the top and unashamedly cheesy; her albums carry names like “Worship Me Or Die!” and “Rossini’s Rape.” She’s not that far from a female version of Gwar, minus the gore-spraying (speak of the Devil, there’s another band that belongs on this list).
