The world's fastest-shredding guitar/violin virtuoso gives IGN a piece of her mind. Must
see!
May 19, 2005 - The Great Kat utterly defies description, but we'll try anyway. A Julliard
graduate and guitar virtuoso, she is singlehandedly pioneering a movement to meld metal
and classical music into a new genre called "Shred Classical."
She recently released a DVD called Extreme Guitar Shred, a series of short songs, which
The Great Kat describes as cyber-bytes. The entire DVD times out at a tidy 15 minutes, but
it's 15 minutes of the most bizarre, in-your-face shred guitar ever recorded.

We managed to corner The Great Kat at E3, and she does what any wild thing does in that
situation: she struck back with everything she had.
