The Great Kat is the stage name of Katherine Thomas, who is famous for Classical music interpretations in thrash metal music. Mostly she played with electric guitars, but sometimes she plays the violin. In fact Thomas was the coach of the violin, graduated from the Juilliard School and was on tour for playing conventional classical music before finally crossing into metal.
